I cannot properly describe the pain and suffering involved in getting this dishwasher installed and running, but Kansas Dad persevered and won the war! Here's a picture of it running:

I wanted to write an ode for the blog, but I'm afraid I don't have that much mental energy right now. Too bad, because my high school English teacher would have been most impressed. Come to think of it, I think he would have been pretty amused, too.
