It's Thursday and I'm back with some Small Successes.
1. We hosted five children of fellow homeschooling friends who needed some caregivers on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. I was a little nervous at the thought of eight children under my care (with Kansas Dad's help on Wednesday), especially since the ages were a little overwhelming (12, 6, 6, 4, 3, 2, 20 months, 10 months), but everything went wonderfully! We didn't have any injuries and I think all the kids had fun playing together. Their amazing 12 year old basically took care of the baby as she cried horribly every time I looked at her, so I didn't even have extra diapers or bottles.
2. I finally finished going through all the kids' clothes in the closet, putting everything in the appropriate boxes. I even dug through all their drawers for the winter clothes and replaced them with spring clothes. We sent three boxes out to sell or donate, too.
3. I downloaded the pictures for March from my camera to the computer. Yes, that's right, a whole month of pictures. You may have noticed the drabness of the blog recently. I have not, of course, actually gone through any of the pictures, but this is a post about small successes. I have a little work to do on those. (I also still have all the pictures I ordered for Second Daughter's baby album still waiting to be placed in the actual album. I'll finish it eventually...)
