Second Son's first smiley day was Friday, August 27th. He smiled and me and at the kids. (Kansas Dad had a few smiles from him earlier.) They were still pretty rare, though, those smiles.
Yesterday, though, I felt like we were starting to get smiles more reliably. After a good nap, smiling and talking to him almost always brought a smile to his adorable face. I tried to get a picture of one this morning, but he wasn't interested in performing on command. Before too long we'll have lots of opportunities for smiling pictures!
