The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark - This is a short read with plenty of quirky and funny lines and characters. I'm still not sure what I think about the book, but it was a nice diversion from all the school books I'd been reading. (requested through PaperBackSwap.com - this is an affiliate link)
The World Beyond Your Head: On Becoming an Individual in an Age of Distraction by Matthew B. Crawford - link to my post. (purchased copy)
Four Years in Paradise by Osa Johnson - link to my post. (purchased copy)
Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen, read by Rosamund Pike - I think this was a free option for members one month but I was thrilled to add it to my Audible library. I loved it because I love everything Jane Austen. There's something particularly nice about listening to her books read by someone with a real British accent (as opposed to the atrocious one in my head). (purchased copy; Audible members receive two free audiobooks each month, chosen from six options. To be honest, sometimes I don't pick any of them, but sometimes they are fantastic.)
The History of Ancient Egypt (Great Courses) by Bob Brier - link to my post. (purchased audiobook)
Have a Nice Day by Billy Crystal and a lot of other people, an Audible Original - This was a free audiobook for members recently and I downloaded it in the hopes of something light-hearted and fun to break up all the lectures I was listening to. It fit the bill. (purchased audiobook)
The Life and Writings of John Milton (Great Courses) by Seth Lerer - link to my post. (purchased audiobook)
