On good mornings, the kids chatter and play in their room for a while before calling for us. (First Son won't get out of bed until we come in; First Daughter can't - yet.) We heard them off and on for a while before First Son started calling for Mama. Kansas Dad headed in and found First Daughter in her crib without pajamas or a diaper. Well, they were still in the crib, but no longer on her!
A while later, she pretty much got her shirt and shorts on by herself. (I had to help get the shirt the rest of the way over her head.) First Son still complains about getting dressed by himself. Is this a difference between sons and daughters, between first and second kids or just between First Son and First Daughter?
