Some Sibling Shots

  1. Second Daughter looks so much older than her age! She is so beautiful.

  2. I think it's because she's so big. I'm guessing she's about 14 pounds or so. We had to move her up to 3-6 clothes and her smallest cloth diapers don't really fit anymore. (I'll be glad when we've built up our supply of medium diapers well enough to pack those away, too.)

  3. What kind of cloth diapers are you using? Eliza is still in most of my mediums, since she's so skinny, but I might have some I could give you. I'll be getting rid of all my cloth diapers when Eliza is done with them (though some of the ones that have been through multiple children are not in the best shape.)

  4. We have a variety of cloth diapers - fitted with covers, all-in-ones and even a one-size-fits-all. We've tried kissaluvs (fitted, which Second Daughter has outgrown), Motherease (fitted and a one-size-fits-all), BumGenius (fitted), Knickernappies (pocket diaper, using some of the inserts in gdiaper covers I already had) and Dreameze all-in-ones and fitteds. I also have a couple my friend Hilary made for us.

I've bought a variety for First Daughter as we've started to use cloth to get a feel for what we like and what works well for us, so most of the ones we've tried are in a larger size. As we add to our stash in medium, we're mostly using cheap folded diapers in medium gdiaper covers for Second Daughter. From experience, I know the gdiaper covers aren't going to work well for long (with cloth inserts; they're great if you buy the gdiaper inserts), so I'm definitely interested in what you have! We bought the kissaluvs used in the smallest size and they worked great.

  5. I'll e-mail you about the diapers when I get chance. I've mostly used quality prefolds with a snappi for all three, but I have a number of different covers and I probably have 2-3 dozen various fitted diapers, all-in-ones, and pocket diapers, too.
