I think that your pediatrician's policy is criminal. We've all heard the tales of people being killed driving too quickly to hair appts, dr appts, etc...it's never worth it. And, anyone who works with kids all of the time should know that parents never set out planning to be late. Not to mention, I think it's poor form to fire patients unless they are borderline personalities...and that's pretty much the only reason I can think of. I'm sending your pediatrician's office very put-out vibes.
I know! I hate it. If only the PA and the doctor weren't so good and such a perfect match for us. This is our third pediatrician in less than four years and I'm just not ready to find another office. Yet.I think it's because such a large portion of their patients are low-income and just don't follow through like they should. so we're not the ones they're going after, but we have to follow the same rules. They also have way too many patients. As one of the only NFP practices in the city, the doctor (a family practioner who also does OB) has a lot of big families.
do you guys go to Holy Family?
Comments make me happy; thanks for speaking up!
